OSS / Provisioning
Connect Customer Activity Directly to Service Delivery
A service is not complete when it is sold. It is complete when the network delivers exactly what the subscriber ordered.
That is the role of OSS and provisioning within the GLDS ecosystem.
BroadHub Link provides the operational layer between the BSS and the network and service platforms responsible for delivering broadband, voice, video, managed Wi-Fi, subscriber-experience services, and related products. When subscriber activity occurs in BroadHub, BroadHub Link can coordinate the downstream actions required to activate, change, suspend, reconnect, or disconnect service.
The goal is simple: keep what the customer buys, what the provider bills, and what the network delivers aligned.
You Shouldn’t Have to Build Every Workflow Yourself
Provisioning becomes complicated quickly. Access networks, voice platforms, Wi-Fi systems, video services, and subscriber-experience platforms each bring different interfaces, data models, and operational requirements.
GLDS has spent decades working through those complexities.
BroadHub Link supports established integrations across platforms from providers including Calix, Adtran, Nokia, Momentum, Plume, Alianza, and others. The ecosystem spans FTTH access, voice, IPTV, digital video, conditional access, subscriber-experience platforms, and additional service-delivery systems.
The value is not simply that GLDS can connect to those systems. It is that the workflows behind those connections have been designed, tested, and refined through real broadband operations.
The GLDS integration methodology is built around repeatable use cases, integration touchpoints, data models, sequencing, testing, pre-production validation, and deployment. That is the difference between exposing an API and operationalizing a broadband workflow.
In one customer deployment, provisioning originally required data entry across multiple systems and could take about 30 minutes per subscriber. GLDS implemented pre-integrated provisioning workflows that reduced that process to approximately five minutes.
GLDS is also developing an AI-enabled Model Context Protocol layer to make existing GLDS and partner interfaces easier to connect. The intent is not to replace proven interfaces, but to make a mature integration ecosystem easier to extend.
BroadHub Link can also operate beneath another BSS, allowing providers to use GLDS as the OSS integration layer even when BroadHub is not the billing platform.
