BSS / Customer Management and Billing

Run the Broadband Business From One Operational Foundation

Billing is not an isolated back-office function. For a broadband provider, the BSS sits at the center of the subscriber relationship: defining what the customer buys, what they are charged, how they pay, what services they should receive, and how activity throughout the organization relates back to that subscriber.

BroadHub® is the foundation of the GLDS ecosystem. Built specifically for broadband service providers, it combines customer management, billing, service definition, pricing, work management, payments, tax-service integration, and operational data within a common broadband platform.

BroadHub supports the billing models providers actually use, including bundled and à-la-carte services, subscription and transactional billing, prepaid and postpaid models, promotional pricing, recurring discounts, and integrated payment workflows.

Tax services can be integrated directly into the billing workflow so service and address information can drive jurisdiction-specific taxes and fees without requiring staff to maintain complex tax logic manually.

Payment processing follows the same ecosystem approach. BroadHub works with third-party processors while maintaining the subscriber account and transaction history inside the broader operational workflow. GLDS systems are designed to use processor-issued tokenized references rather than storing cardholder data within BroadHub.

More Than a Billing System

The larger value of the BSS is what happens beyond the bill. Subscriber activity in BroadHub can drive provisioning, appear in customer self-service, initiate communications, create and update field work, and synchronize with outside systems through established integrations, APIs, and webhooks.

BroadHub NEXT continues that model by modernizing the user experience while preserving the integrated workflows, automation, and operational depth providers already rely on.

Proven Operations, Not Just Flexible Software

Modern platforms frequently emphasize APIs, workflow builders, and configurability. Those capabilities matter. But an API only makes an integration possible. The harder problem is operationalizing that integration so billing, provisioning, payments, communications, and service activity remain synchronized as the business grows.

GLDS brings more than four decades of broadband experience and operating patterns shaped across more than 875 broadband service providers worldwide. That experience is embedded in the workflows, integrations, safeguards, and processes surrounding BroadHub.

GLDS is also applying AI to areas such as data quality and migration readiness, where it can identify conflicting, missing, or inconsistent information before it becomes a production problem. Better data entering the BSS supports cleaner billing, stronger reporting, and more reliable downstream operations.

BroadHub is more than a billing engine. It is the operational foundation that connects the subscriber, the services they buy, and the systems required to deliver them.
